23 Life Lessons for 23

So I turned 23 on Monday which is super hype. I was super happy to move on from 22 which definitely had its ups and down. So here are 23 Life Lessons for 23

1.๐Ÿฅณ Go where you are celebrated

Going where you are celebrated is crucial for personal growth and happiness. When we surround ourselves with people who appreciate our talents and support our goals, we are more likely to thrive and succeed. On the other hand, being in an environment where we are constantly criticized or undervalued can be detrimental to our self-esteem and overall well-being. It's important to recognize our own worth and seek out relationships and opportunities that align with our values and goals. By doing so, we can create a positive and fulfilling life for ourselves.

2. ๐ŸŒฑ Relationships are Likes Plants

Relationships are like plants in that they require care and attention to grow and flourish. We must nurture our relationships by taking the time to listen, support, and appreciate the people in our lives. Just like plants need water and sunlight to thrive, relationships need communication and quality time to stay healthy. By investing in our relationships, we allow them to bloom and reach their full potential. This means being there for each other during the good times and the bad, and working together to navigate the challenges that life throws our way. When we prioritize our relationships, we can create deep and meaningful connections that last a lifetime.

3. โ›‘ You have to be good at things you donโ€™t want to do, in order to do what you want to do

Sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do in order to achieve our goals. Whether it's working a job we don't love, taking courses we're not interested in, or practicing skills that don't come naturally to us, there are often obstacles we must overcome to get to where we want to be. However, by mastering these skills and pushing through the discomfort, we can gain valuable experience and knowledge that will help us achieve our goals in the long run. We must remember that success doesn't come easy and that hard work and dedication are necessary to achieve our dreams. By taking on challenges and stepping outside of our comfort zones, we can grow and become the best version of ourselves.

4. ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ Surface Level Friends Are Great

It's important to recognize that not every relationship needs to be a deep and meaningful one. Sometimes, surface level friendships can be just as fulfilling. Having friends who share your hobbies or interests can be a great way to bond and connect with others without the pressure of having to reveal your deepest thoughts and emotions. These friendships can be a great way to have fun and enjoy life without any added stress or drama. So don't feel like you need to have a close relationship with everyone you meet; sometimes, a simple shared interest is all it takes to form a great friendship.

5. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ Fitness Should Be Mandatory

Fitness should be a mandatory part of our daily routine. Our bodies are designed to move, and regular exercise has been shown to have numerous physical and mental health benefits. However, in our modern lives, it can be challenging to make time for exercise amidst our busy schedules. It's important to recognize that even small amounts of exercise can make a big difference in our overall health and well-being. Striving to incorporate some form of physical activity into our daily routine can help us feel more energized, focused, and productive. Whether it's a quick 10-minute walk around the block or a full workout at the gym, prioritizing our physical health is crucial for living a happy and fulfilling life.

6. ๐Ÿซ‚ We have Needs that cannot be met by Ourselves

We all have needs that cannot be met by ourselves or technology. Sometimes, we need the help of others to meet these needs. It's important to accept this and not be afraid to reach out and ask for help when we need it. Additionally, we can also help others meet their needs. By forming connections with others and being there for each other, we can create a supportive community that we can rely on. This means being willing to listen, offer support and advice, and lend a helping hand when needed. When we work together to meet each other's needs, we can create a positive and fulfilling life for ourselves and those around us.

7. ๐Ÿ˜ Idle Mind Causes all the Issues: Learn to do work or Learn to Chill

An idle mind can be a dangerous thing. When we have too much free time, we might find ourselves overthinking, worrying, and even becoming anxious. This can lead to all sorts of issues, such as procrastination, depression, and even physical health problems. It's important to learn to either do work or learn to chill when we find ourselves in this state. Sometimes, the best solution is to just focus on a task that needs to be done. Other times, we need to take a step back and do something relaxing, such as meditation or going for a walk. Finding a balance between work and relaxation is key to maintaining a healthy mind and body.

8. ๐Ÿง  Physical Glow Ups Must go Hand in Hand with Mental Glow ups

When working on a physical glow up, it's important to also work on your mental health and do the inner work necessary to become the best version of yourself. The changes you make to your outward appearance should be reflective of the changes you're making on the inside. Taking care of your mental health can also help you maintain your physical health in the long run. By building confidence, self-love, and a positive mindset, you'll be able to approach your physical goals with a healthy and sustainable mindset. Remember, true beauty comes from within, and when you work on yourself from the inside out, it will show in all aspects of your life.

9. ๐Ÿช The Universe is a Reflection of You

The universe is a reflection of you and your beliefs. Your thoughts and beliefs shape the reality you experience. If you believe that the world is a negative and hostile place, you will encounter negative and hostile situations. On the other hand, if you believe that the world is full of opportunities and positivity, you will attract positive experiences into your life. The energy you put out into the world is the energy you receive in return. Therefore, it's important to cultivate a positive mindset and beliefs to attract positivity into your life.

10. ๐Ÿชœ You have the ability to Create Opportunities

We have been conditioned by the education system to believe that we cannot be proactive and that opportunities will come to us if we simply follow the rules and work hard. However, in the real world, taking the first step is crucial. By being proactive and seeking out opportunities, we can create our own path and shape our own destiny. We must learn to take risks and be willing to fail in order to succeed. It's important to remember that success is not handed to us; we must work for it and create our own opportunities.

11. โšพ๏ธ Life Greatest Moments are Decided in a Day

Life's greatest moments are often decided in a single day. Even though we may have had weeks, months, or even years of preparation leading up to a big event, it's often the actions we take on that one crucial day that ultimately determine the outcome. It's in those moments that we have to summon all of our strength, courage, and determination to make things happen. We may face unexpected challenges and setbacks, but it's our ability to adapt and overcome that will ultimately determine our success. So, when the day comes, we must be ready to give it our all and trust in our preparation to carry us through to victory.

12. ๐Ÿ’ธ Business is the Key to Freedom

Business is the key to freedom and the modern way to conquer the world. In today's society, entrepreneurs have the power to create their own path and shape their own destiny. By starting a business, you have the ability to create your own opportunities and become financially independent. Not only does this give you the freedom to live life on your own terms, but it also allows you to make a positive impact on the world. By providing value to others through your products or services, you have the ability to change lives and make a difference in the world. When I was younger I despised business but as I grew older I realized that this was the key to freedom and now is something I am more interested in and more passionate about.

In college, I was taught to follow the rules, study hard, and conform to society's expectations. However, in the real world, I quickly realized that success was not handed to me on a silver platter. I had to create my own opportunities and work hard to achieve my goals. This meant taking risks, being willing to fail, and constantly learning and growing. By embracing my love for music, I was able to connect with others on a deeper level and even make new friends who shared similar interests. I've learned to appreciate the traditions, values, and customs that have been passed down through my family, and I'm proud to share those things with others. I refuse to hide my culture or downplay my heritage because of what others may think or say. A lot of my anxiety used to stem from the fear that other people could attack me and I would be helpless to defend myself.
