and it was, Kawaii clutched it, and became the greatest raptor ever!

It’s kind of funny, I think the thing I am best at is clutching it. Pulling something straight out of my ass last minute. Asking the Universe for one more miracle, and I guess it works, but never in ways I have expected.

I moved to Cerritos in the 6th grade, restarting once again. Here I ended up going to Quest Academy to prepare to get into Whitney. This is where I met Calvin, shoutout Calvin. And some other characters. It was a writing class, and turns out I sucked at writing so its hella funny that I am writing right now, absolutely zooted out of my god damn mind. Yeah my essays were terrible, and I always got roasted by the teacher. Took the test did not get in. Thus I went to Carmenita, fast forward two years, took the test again. Did not hear anything for months. Went to Cerritos High School, registered for classes, and even got my ID card. Then two days before school started, got into Whitney, and I said yes. Clutched it.

Now I am at UCSD, and I want to join some clubs. Decided to audition for a dance team and a frat at the same time. Auditioned for the dance team where I met my homie Arun, a guy who changed my life. Turns out I got rejected, but Arun got in. Of course I was happy for him he deserved it, but I also got rejected from the frat the same day. Talk about starting college knowing you messed up any potential social life. Then two days later, I get a text asking if I am still interested in the team, I say yes, then they tell me I am I got accepted. Clutched it.

Let's go back to March 28th, the day Temple University denied me an interview. It was my seventh rejection, and while I was okay with it, it still stung. Throughout April and May, I received more rejections, each one hurting just as much. However, my focus shifted to next year, and I began working hard on my second application. The only thing that changed between this year and last year was my desire to become a dentist and my commitment to this goal. I submitted my applications to all the schools and on June 8th, I received an email from Temple University offering me an interview. I accepted and scheduled it for June 15th. I was surprised to find out that they were offering me a seat for this year, not next year. It felt like the Universe had offered me another miracle. I prepared well for the interview and working hard felt so good. Doing meaningful work feels so good. Finally, I had the quick 15-minute interview on Thursday morning and by Friday afternoon, I found out that I was accepted and will be going to Philadelphia attending Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in August! Clutched it.

Thank you everyone for supporting me on this journey! If you're reading this, it definitely means you have impacted my life in so many positive ways. I will always be grateful that the universe allowed our paths to cross. I will still be keeping up with this website and will be going even harder, because I only get one life. To all my East Coasts Peeps, let’s def link because I will definitely be hitting up NYC and other cities during my time there, and be making hella content fshoski.

Thank you for reading, let’s grow together :)
