Touch some Grass!!!

I have always loved walking, as I get to enjoy taking my time, taking in the scenery around me, and listening to some fire music.

Ever since moving off campus, I do not get to enjoy walking around campus, exploring different buildings and just overall enjoying the sun. Thus I started to take neighborhood walks. I try to go on these walks the first thing I wake up. This helps me get moving and in the sunlight, so my body and brain have time to wake up. However if I do not go in the morning, I try to go in the afternoon and even the evening, honestly whenever I feel like it, sometimes twice a day. I go on these walks everyday as now I just really enjoy it. Sometimes I go with music, other times I take that time to plan out my day or how I am going to proceed with the projects I have. Walking also triggers insights and I always just felt better about life after my walks. Walking has been my number one coping mechanism whenever I am sad, frustrated, or stressed. Seeing the pretty flowers and plants around my neighborhood, gets me out of my mind and into the present. Also seeing the outside world, reminds me of how small my problems are and that I am taking them too seriously.
