What Do I Watch?

Many people get surprised when I say I don’t watch TV shows. They ask me then what do you watch then and what do you enjoy?

Short Answer: A lot of Youtube

However I wanted to give more detail into the types of videos I watch so I decided to write this post so I can better explain my reasoning and make it easier for others to understand.

However this is not to say that I don’t watch TV shows period. I do watch TV shows but it has to be with others. I will gladly watch a show with someone else has I believe watching shows with another person adds another layer to the experience as I have someone to react with and discuss the episode after we have watched it.

Looking back at the last time I watched a TV show on my own was Saiki K (highly recommend it), which is an anime during June of 2020, ever since then all the shows I have watched have been with someone else or a group of people.

I also love binging content, meaning that I will find channels and watch all their videos until I’m bored and move onto channels and topics as my interests change and I learn more. Thus what I have put down below may change in the future as my interest change.

The 3 main categories of content I consume for now are:

Informational Videos, Vlogs, and League of Legend Videos

Informational videos:

I love watching informational videos, as I really love to learn. Learning random facts and just general knowledge on a variety of topics is really fun for me. I love having my mindblown and watching these videos definitely does that.

Vlogs:

I enjoy watching vlogs because it lets me see how other people live. This allows me to gain new perspective on how one lives life and in a different environment. I can definitely learn from this and implement any habits or lifestyle choices that I resonated with.

League of Legend Videos:

I just really enjoy watching these videos. I first started playing League when I was 13, and it has stuck ever since. Although I don’t play league or any video games anymore, I still enjoy watching it and always makes me laugh. I also enjoy watching highlights of professional games mainly from the North American (LCS) and Korean (LCK) regions.

So that is what I primarily watch. I also read a lot and listen/watch podcast, but will cover that in another post.

Thank you reading 🙂
